NEW ZEALAND RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011

The 2011 Rugby World Cup will be held in New Zealand from 9th September to 23rd October 2011. The final will be held at the re-vamped Eden Park in Auckland, in front of a capacity 63,000+ crowd.

The 2011 New Zealand Rugby World Cup will be the biggest sporting event ever to be held in New Zealand. NZ hosted the inaugural rugby world cup in 1987 and that was the only time that they have won the competition. This time around there will be huge pressure for the All Blacks to once again climb to the top tier of international rugby union.

Development, planning and building is well underway as New Zealand prepares for this huge sporting event. Work is progressing rapidly on the stadiums and infrastructure that will support the games and the 10's of 1000's of visitors who will be coming to New Zealand.
